hkgirl001: It must be in bunny🐰 heaven, living happily ever after❤️
What a peculiar doctor I met tonight… I wasn’t feeling well and didn’t really express myself as much as I wanted to but he still gave me some really sound advice and was quite amusing throughout the lengthy consultation. He actually bothered to ask me questions about my life too which I didn’t expect but I guess sometimes it’s the most unexpected encounters that stay with you.
He even wrote this down for me:
ME TIME
Walk: 30 mins
Mindfulness meditation: 10 mins
Talk : girlfriend / journal / counsellor
And one of the things he told me that stayed with me is there are things in life we simply have no control over. Simple yet very grounding at this juncture in my life. I think I needed this too. I can’t help but feel like God uses people to reach me… because I have kind of been hearing the same message again and again.
Thanks Dr Tommie Choo.✨

At dinner while watching ‘because of Winn-Dixie on Netflix, I had fed Sticky a cream croissant but didn’t realise my smallest finger was also on the menu. 😭She bit down TWICE so hard I literally screamed and almost in tears. In her head she was probably like: Why is this bread so hard?? 🤨 Meanwhile my poor pinky: I did not sign up for this 🥲I am so thankful my pinky didn’t break apart but it sure was swollen.

These past few days have been taxing on our rest, health and on bun bun too. Bun has been losing his balance more and more and recently he started falling over and is now unable to stand properly on his own. The vet found a yeast infection in his ears and mentioned that the loss of balance could be related to the ear issue or possibly age-related vestibular problems but nothing has been confirmed and he has only been given liver medication. He is currently on supportive care and ear treatment and we have been cleaning his ears daily as instructed and also feeding him his medication and CC. As of now, his condition seems to be getting worse instead of better which makes us very concerned. Because of this, we are thinking of getting a second opinion. The clinic we visited is quite far from home and the long journey is quite stressful for him in his current condition. We may bring him to Dr Grace Heng from Joyous Vet or to Pet Infinity for another review since we already have his recent blood test results and hope another vet can assess his case without putting him through too much stress again. Right now we just want to make the best decision for him and make sure he gets the right treatment as soon as possible. Please keep Bun in your thoughts and prayers. TQ🐰❤️🙏🏻
What a long and tiring day it has been with the never ending waiting, ecg, blood tests, and X-ray at NTF. Especially since I only managed to fall asleep at 5 am this morning.😭It is finally time to go home and get some good rest. Thank you sticky for being with me through everything today. It was truly a long and exhausting day. I am grateful you were by my side. On our way to the train station, I encountered a white pigeon with dark patches on its body. I take this as a sign of peace, protection and good things to come. I pray and declare in Jesus name that I will surely heal and fully recover from the outcome of the test results. May the Lord restore my body, calm my heart and grant me good rest tonight. May His protection be upon me and my home, and may the Holy Spirit dwell with me and give me peace in Jesus’ mighty name I pray, Amen. 🙏🏻♥️

鬍子哥🥸: oh no what happened
I think I did a pretty good job today.
Home-cooked 油麥菜炒蛋 from scratch. Yummy 😋

Beanie went for his blood test and check-up and thankfully his results are okay. The vet said he is a little dehydrated so he needs to drink more water and we have to continue his kidney supplement daily. Other than that, his test results are stable for now which we are very thankful for. As for Bun Bun, the visit was a bit more complicated. The vet found a yeast infection inside both of his ears. Because he is already old and his limbs are weaker he may not be able to reach the inner part of his ears to clean himself properly, so dirt and yeast can accumulate over time. They helped to clean his ears and prescribed an ear cleaning solution for us to continue maintaining his ear hygiene at home. His liver function results were not very good, likely due to old age and existing conditions, so he has been given liver capsules to mix with water or Critical Care which he needs to take daily for one month. During the check-up, the vet also detected a heart murmur. This means the heart valves may not close properly and blood can flow backwards, which causes the murmur sound which according to the vet is quite loud. This is more common in senior rabbits. It can sometimes lead to heart enlargement, fluid build-up or weaker circulation, but it can also be temporary due to stress, pain, or dehydration during the visit. The only way to confirm the cause would be to do a heart ultrasound, which requires shaving and positioning him on his back and the cost is quite high hence we decided not to do it for now as he was already very stressed. We will monitor him closely first. We also questioned the vet about his teary eyes and the vet didn’t check his eyes properly and she proceeded with the necessary equipment to flush his tear ducts during the visit. She showed us how and the location to massage him and got her veterinarian assistant to teach us how to clean his ears properly so we can continue the care at home. He also need daily critical care 2-3 times a day which can be mixed with his liver medication or else, it can be mixed with just water. His next follow-up appointment will be in one month. May God heal and be with him. Pls keep Bun Bun and Beanie in your prayers TQ🩵
